Hotwire Hotel: Paris (montparnasse - porte de versailles) 4* july 5 to 7th 2009 &#036

Hi all,

I need help identifying a hotwire 4* hotel for Paris July 5th to the 7th 2009 (EDIT: dates on the title is wrong)

in the montparnasse porte de versailles area for 117$.

It has high speed internet and business center.

This is the process that I went through before posting this....

Hotwire says that the hotel's trip advisor rating is 4/5 and it has more than 100 reviews

with the last one being in may 2009.

So, I went on tripadvisor, did a search for 4/5 rating with a 4star hotel (in ALL of

Paris) and I got 52 results. Looking through them, I found ONLY ONE that MAY make sense...

sort of. It's the Le Marquis... 4 star, 4/5, 101 reviews last one being May 25th. Looking at

the map, it looks close enough to the montparnasse area but I have two issues:

1. Better bidding's list puts Le Marquis in the Eiffel/Invalides/etc. area (close, but not Montparnasse)

2. The amenities listed in tripadvisor and the ones on hotwire don't match... at all.

Can someone help me out? Thanks

Are you sure it isnt the Le Meridian? I tried to book a package to Paris using hotwire at the same time and that was the only 4 star that came up in the area.

Does the 4* Le Meridien in the hotel package show the same amenities as is showing i the 'opaque' HOTWIRE hotel search? Does the Le Meridien at Tripadvisor match the tripadvisor info provided by HOTWIRE for the offering above?

Any luck identifying this hotel? I'm booking for July 14th - 17th and looking at the same Montparnasse hotel.
