Priceline Hotel: 4* Chicago (Millenium-Loop-Grant Park) Hilton

Started my bidding at $47 with NMA, used the Loop with rebid increasing $5 each time with new zones until I received the acceptance at $67. I was hoping for the Hyatt Regency as I have seen many people win this hotel recently. Wanted it for the location more than the rooms.

I am a little disappointed with this hotel due to the location being so far south in the Loop although the rooms don't look to bad. I probably should have booked through HOTWIRE in retrospect. Good price for the summer though. Anyone stayed here before?

Sorry to hear you didn't receive the hotel you were hoping for.

If there is a property in the zone you're trying to target, or avoid, HOTWIRE can often be a better option. The zone isn't that big so with the money you saved on the room take an extra cab ride or two to make this work for your needs.

This is a fine, historic property. It is in the South Loop, which is not great if you want to be near shopping and nightlife, but it isn't far if you want to be within a reasonable walk to the museum campus.
