Used the Priceline link and got the above.

Tried $50 based on the most recent winning bid, but was rejected.

Then added a non-4* area at $53, but no luck.

Added another non-4* area at $55, and won!

I wanted St. Louis Marriott Union Station since I'll be leaving bright and early from there on my departure date, but am satisfied with what I ended up with (the cheapest web rate from the hotel is $179/night).

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Congratulations on your success!

While not the perfect hotel for your plans, i'm sure you can make this work well for your needs with the $100+ savings per nite you've seen on the above purchase :) Certainly enough savings to take a cab to Union Station in the morning (although i do appreciate the extra few minutes of sleep you would have received at the Marriott)

Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.

Enjoy your stay.
