Greetings: A hotel has popped up on Hotwire which I am unable to identify using the tools on this site. Central Park 3* Amenities: boutique, complimentary breakfast, internet access. $139 per day, 7/13-7/16.

Any ideas? The Franklin? The Wales?

The above is a match for the Franklin Hotel so that would be my best guess. I'll also add, that unless you have a reason to be staying on the UES, i wouldn't necessarily recommend this location for the typical visitor. It's not the most convenient for getting around the city and i think you would be better served (assuming your 'typical tourist' (not meant in a bad way)) to stay more centrally located in Midtown.

Thanks. I used to live in NY so I'm not a typical tourist. I was guessing either the Franklin or the Wales.

I did use the HOTWIRE link on this site to start my purchase. I'd been following this for a while, when the price dropped from $159 to $135 today I jumped on it. Thanks to the helpful information on this site I figured it was either the Barclay or the Hyatt, either would have been fine.
