Priceline down or possible glitch?

Perhaps Priceline is having a bad day, but I have never experienced this before. Was bidding on a 5 star Las Vegas room. I know I have at least 7 rebid options (using 4 star or below areas), however after bidding for the 3rd time I received this message and was never able to bid again. (see below). It gave me the option to book the hotels, but NOT new option to keep bidding. Anyone else run across this? And how to I get around it, except to wait 24 hours?

This is not a glitch but rather marketing... PRICELINE figures that you need a hotel, weren't successful in your bid, so they'll present you with some of their retail options since they know you're looking for a hotel room.

You could close that browser and re-access PRICELINE and continue on as you would have had you been given the opportunity to add a re-bid zone.

I've commented before, that although not the purpose when created, others have found the search box on the top right of the board handy in situations such as this. Typically if/when you need to close the browser (either thru re-bidding or because you're taken to the 'retail' listings) you need to re-access PRICELINE and re-enter all your travel information into the city, date, etc. fields... if you used the search box at the top right of the board, all the information is still there, so just close your current browser, click the GO button again, and you're all set to cotinue bidding :)
