Sorry I ended up not using HOTWIRE for this trip. Thanks again for the info.

I chose to give PRICELINE a try and after a few days of re-bidding and adding other zones, namely Anaheim hills and Fullerton area,

I finally won a bid with Crowne Plaza Resort in Garden Grove for $44.00 a night and extended my stay after winning and added an additional day.

So my final dates are July 1-5. Hope it turns out nice, as I've read a number of mixed reviews. I'm fine with the additional $12.00 a day resort fee since I'll be using the parking anyway. Some feel its not as clean as other hotels and they seem they have a consistent ice-machine problem not working. But I am really happy with the price I got, even though I was hoping to win the Anaheim Marriott Suites because they all come with a fridge and a seperate living area.
