Thanks for the help through your website. Used your link go through to PRICELINE. Have just checked out all the comments on Trip Advisor, seems like the historic Chicago Hilton isn't perfect -- great to be informed before you go. Not sure if the dates are making it through on this post -- they are 5/31/09 to 6/1/09.

It looks like the reviews are very mixed, but keep in mind that the average guess writing their review may have paid $200+ for their room, which comes with a certain level of expectations, which may be hard to be met. While your stay may not be perfect, hopefully it will exceed your expectations, and i'm sure you'll get your $67 worth :).

Thanks for the tip on how to fit the info in -- and our stay was great at $67 a night. On the 7th floor facing the lake (which lets you see enough of the water over the Grant Park trees to see the boats on the lake) with an extremely comfortable king bed. No complaints at all about the Hilton Chicago -- it is a beautiful grand hotel. If you stay or stop in, be sure to go up to the 2d floor (left stair up from the lobby) to see the incredible ballroom.
