Told me I could rebid at $22 higher ($91) and would get the room. Rather than do that, I rebid changing checkout date from 5/26 to 5/27 (that's right, I bid for only 1 night the 2nd time) and raised offer by $2. It was accepted!Second bid: $81 accepted. Received an offer to extend my stay an additional night at the same rate. Can utilize this offer until check-out time (1100 hrs) on 5/27. Decided to wait on extending stay until I see/smell the room since previous reviews indicated problems getting a non-smoking room and it is a pet friendly hotel. DO NOT want to stay in a room that smells like a dog. Subtotal: $81.00Taxes and Service Fees: $18.76Total Charges: $99.76BTW, Hyatt Regency Denver (downtown next to convention center) was filled. AAA rate at the Hyatt Tech Center was $99 + taxes and fees.

When you try to extend the stay you could be told that there are no rooms avaialble or that a room is avialable at that rate but at a higher price (at which point you'll be give the option of accepting/rejecting the price). There Is No Substitute Posted May 27, 2009 Author Report Posted May 27, 2009 Checked in to the 4* Loews Denver (Cherry Creek). Very nice room. Suggestion - call the front desk [(303) 782-9300] and ask for the pet free floor if you have allergies to pet dander. Likewise if you want non-smoking room. They were happy to grant our request. Contrary to what the Loews reservation number told us, PARKING IS COMPLIMENTARY. The shuttle runs every 10 minutes to the Cherry Creek Shopping area during mall hours.
