RobertB Posted May 26, 2009 Report Posted May 26, 2009 No review of this hotel yet so I'll put down some info here. Stayed there this past weekend (5/23-25) on a $79/night PL bid. Very clean and nice hotel, but was definitely treated with the Scarlet letter PL. Wasn't able to check-in until 5:15 due to a big turnover and completely understood. But, all the "other" customers were receiving discount meal vouchers and their cookies. But, surprise, we got nothing. Requested a queen before arrival and was told probably 5 times that because we were PL that nothing could be guaranteed (again, understand), but this was the first time I was told outright that I was a different customer and would only get the scraps.

With rooms not being ready by the posted check-in time I don't fault the hotel regarding not being able to guarantee the queen bed room assignment (did you ultimately receive the room type you wanted??), but if everyone else was being given a meal voucher i would have asked for one as well... afterall, you were just as inconvenienced as the other guests and didn't get the "full" use of your room, and therefore deserved the same compensation.
