love2travel2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 I stayed here with four friends and we split the hotel cost which came about to be $109 per night with taxes and about $28 for each of us. I have to say that when the site said 3.5 stars, I wanted something bigger and upscale and I searched this site with the amenities listed and found that most likely, I will get The Westin Peachtree Plaza. I went on their website and the rooms looked upscale and modern and I have to admit that I was impressed when I came here. We were treated with most generous smiles and service. The hotel rooms are modern and the beds are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a hotel room. My friends couldn't get enough of the "heavenly shower" showerhead. The bathroom was luxurious and pretty. There was starbucks coffee which I absolutely loved. I think this hotel should be rated 4 or 4.5 stars. We saw the hotel from the interstate because its round and tall. It is probably one of the tallest building in Atlanta if not the tallest. The rooms were very modern and upscale. I would definitely stay here again and we definitely got a bargain deal. It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, and the price was a total steal. I am impressed. I would recommend this to anyone who has desires for finer things in life. Definitely an upscale hotel for a ridiculously cheap price. I also forgot to mention that the hotel is a couple of minutes walk from all the attractions. We parked our car and didn't need it for the entire day. We just walked everywhere. And the checkout time is 12 pm which we thought was amazing since we are like to get up late in the morning. It is perfect in everywhich way and only 15 or 20 minutes from Six Flags.
