Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (USE) Westin St Francis

Going to SF with the wifey for a wedding from 6/25-6/29 (thurs-mon, 4 nights)

Watched all the great $69 4* USE-westin st francis deals happening on this board so got really excited but no go when I tried to bid that amount. Looking at the board's history, seems like the Westin may have changed their min. bid from $69 (most I saw were May or earlier) in the off season to $89 (saw a couple in August for this amt) for the high summer season. Just a guess.

Here's my bidding history:

Bid at 69, rejected

Added south sf zone, bid 73, rejected

Added marina zone, bid 83, rejected

Added civic center, bid 89, won

At spg.com for same dates, rate is $145/nt. So roughly $56/nt in savings for 4 nights, I'm not complaining :)

Unfortunately, I did not use the board's PRICELINE link because I had $50 in priceline bonus cash in my email box from their twitter promotion so I used that link - wanted to make sure I got my $12.50/nt credit. But for any future betterbidding use, I'll surely use your PRICELINE links (I have in the past and if you're reading this and considering an SF trip, you should too and support the board!).
