deadish42 Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 first time using priceline's name your own price, someone pointed me in the direction of the site (which is great) and did my research, used the PRICELINE link that the admin puts up, unfortunately i got suckered into adding $14 more so that i could bid again in the next 24 hours but I figured $64 dollars is still a good rate, what would be the correct way to bid without going up by the dollar amount that they want?
thereuare Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your success and thank you for sharing your win with the board. You can undercut the counter-offer by using re-bid zones (which when bidding the 4* level in Chicago you have FOUR re-bid zones). You can see this thread, Priceline Re-Bidding Explained, which gives more information regarding re-bidding as well as this thread, Priceline Counter Offer, which goes into more detail regarding undercutting the counter-offer. Feel free to ask questions regarding either.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
