zbenye Posted October 1, 2004 Author Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 I'm not sure. I definitely prefer hotel over apartment, but downtown SF hotels are lately unavailable, or rates are crazy. Hyatt Regency was $47 last year, now $68 and playing hard to get. Couldn't even get the lousy 2* Mosser for $40. So I booked a week in South SF and will have to decide what to do. I sold my car in St. Louis, so it's either rent an apartment near the office, or buy a new car and live in a hotel in South SF like I did before going to St. Louis. For this week at the HGI, I'll rent a car.By the way, I should have made two separate bids for 10/1-4 and 10/4-8 and might have gotten the Larkspur Landing for less, but was too lazy. Link to comment
