ohbahsan
what's with downtown san francisco this time of the year? :) i was trying to book a hotel for oct 2 and went to $80 @ 2.5* at USE/USW/Fisherman Wharf and was rejected... i must have bid like 20 times before giving up. and now my inbox is overflowing with priceline's "Important Information" emails. :) anyways.... for this particular case i struck out at 4* up to $80. my first boutique bid @ $70 was reject, but second bid of $75 was accepted. i guess the length of the stay had to do with it, but i didn't feel like re-packing all my stuff and moving.Your Offer Price: $75.00Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 5Subtotal: $375.00Taxes & Service Fees: $59.26Total Charges: $434.26 Link to comment
thereuare
Unfortunately LOTS of areas have been tough so far this fall. Thankfully, even with the slightly higher rates, it still beats retail :) Thanks for sharing your win with the board.Enjoy your stay. Shingwedzi
Perhaps you received a lot of rejections due to the hotel strike. There are four SF hotels participating as of today (including the Hilton) but that number is expected to grow. It has been predicted that the strike will last about two weeks, but it's anyone's guess. Link to comment
