Interliner Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Sigh. I screwed this one up. I was trying to get the Eugene Hilton and was denied the rebids for these dates. So, I added a 1* incorrectly thinking it was a free re-bid since I had never seen anyone report winning a 1* and accidentally ended up getting this 1* hotel in Eugene for $48 a night. Their website lists a "Managers Special" for the same dates at $52 a night. It's my fault. I'll stay there for two nights, but I split the dates and tried again. You'll see a second post where I did win the Eugene Hilton for two of the nights. I'm just going to eat the cost of the "Americas Best" for 2 of the nights because I didn't want to spend my entire vacation there. Live and learn! :) Again, I found this site after I made all these bids. Hopefully, it will help me avoid mistakes like this! I'll use the links in the future.
