princessdeity Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 I am going to bid on 2 hotel rooms in Niagra Falls, NY but I need the hotel rooms to have 2 queen beds as there are 4 in one room and 5 in another. How do I ensure this? On hotwire it allows you to put the number of people in the room, but I don't see that option on Priceline????
thereuare Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the descretion of the hotel... you could receive a rooms with only one bed and the hotel may be unable, or unwilling, to change your room to one which has two beds.On the otherhand HOTWIRE enables you to search for up to quad occupancy (note: occupancy of 5 exceeds what is 'allowed' and may also exceed the occupany limit of a 'standard' hotel room as well), and ensures that there will be enough 'sleeping' accomodations for everyone included in your search. Usually this means two beds, but the 'second bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway brought into the room, etc. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly.
