dwleut59 Posted May 20, 2009 Author Report Posted May 20, 2009 I wanted the Shores Resort which is the only 4 star hotel listed for Daytona on this site. I bid $65 in zone 1(Daytona Beach) and was rejected. Added zone (Speedway) and bid $70 and was accepted for the Plaza Resort which is listed as a 3 star on Tripadvisor. Very disappointed that the Plaza Hotel was not identified properly on this site.

In light of the above, you MAY get a hotel that is NOT on this list, or get a hotel on this list but at a star level you didn't expect (if the star rating has changed).This is the first time this property has been reported to the board thru PRICELINE, so thanks for adding it to the hotel list.Can you please also add the dates of your stay so we can add this information to the topic title and enable your win to appear in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Thanks. dwleut59 Posted May 21, 2009 Author Report Posted May 21, 2009 Sorry for the whining, but I was just disappointed when I didn't get the Shores Resort. I've stayed there before, and it is a nice 4* hotel. I'll reserve judgement on the Plaza until after my stay, which will be next week for three nights - May 27-30. Thanks for the info.
