Saw that a Mid-Size car was going for $18.95 per day (cheaper than the Economy or Compact price), so I advised my friend to bid for a Mid-Size on PRICELINE.Quit out of HOTWIRE. Clicked on the PRICELINE link from this board. Saw that the lowest rate was $23. We decided to try for $16 and got it. :)5 days @ $16 per day: $80.00Taxes & fees: $30.75Total: $110.75Lowest Published Price (according to Priceline on the acceptance): $387.95 for a savings of 71%.
