AaronJB Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Welcome to the site.On this listing, can you click to go to the "detail" page and then click "see all amenities"? When you do so, do you see more amenities than the ones listed above?
madamnn Posted May 18, 2009 Author Report Posted May 18, 2009 yes, I pulled it up and on top of the amenities I originally listed, 2 more are listed, 1. condo 2. high speed internet access cheers
thereuare Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 The above is a match for the Mona Lisa Suites so that would be our best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. madamnn Posted May 18, 2009 Author Report Posted May 18, 2009 thank-you for the info. I did a search of the Mona Lisa, and discovered that it filed for chapter 11 bankrupt protection in January 2009. Would you book in a hotel/condo that is in serious financial trouble?
thereuare Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 If i liked the hotel, it was close enough to check-in, and the deal was worthwhile i'd still stay there... especially if there were enough hotels in the area where i could find a last minute reservation should something go wrong (ie- for example, if it were superbowl weekend or some other event where i wouldn't likely be able to find alternate accomodations than i wouldn't, but for a 'regular' trip, probably would, again, if i liked the hotel)I'll add that i'd use a 'good' credit card (one which ususally stands behind customers) rather than a debit card (less protection, imo) and would at least be prepared for some minor service issues, although looking at the Tripadviosr Reviews most guests appear quite pleased here (since the bankruptcy filing)Of course, if the above makes you uncomfortable, you should find other accomodations. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. madamnn Posted May 12, 2011 Author Report Posted May 12, 2011 We ended up going to The Mona Lisa and we must say that the hotel/condo was absolutly awsome. It was quiet, restraunt was excellent and the room was a 10. Posting it as a 4* was bang on and the price fo 96 usd per night was fair. Highly recommend the Mona Lisa.cheers
