Honestly, I think you will enjoy the Marriott better! I have stayed at both. We were at Hapuna in January and were disapointed. Only one resturant was open at a time, there were some times of the day that nothing was open. The service was great as was the beach. The nice thing about the Marriott is it is just a short walk to the Hilton, which is really fun to explore. Also there are shops, a food court and grocery store within walking distance. The beach is just pretty and the fish ponds make for an even prettier view. It has a small water sild and an amazing salt water infinity pool.

We will be back on island in July. Will likely wait to the last min. to bid on something since we stay with relatives most of the trip and just escape to whatever resort we get for acouple of nights!
