Hotwire Hotel: Toronto Downtown 4.5* Metropolitan Hotel

Booked this hotel for $68.00 US per night on 4/13/03 for 6/5/03, three nights.

Amenities: Airport Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center, High-Speed internet, Business Center, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby

Then I found out from another site similar to this one that the hotel gives lousy, tiny rooms (i.e., not 4.5* as promised) with one bed to Priceline guests, so I called the 800-number reservation line to check on my reservation and request a room with two beds. When I called, they told me that I had booked a "Superior" room with one bed, but they offered to upgrade that to a "Deluxe" with two doubles for $30 a night. Seems ridiculous to pay almost 50% more than the original price. I'll report back after my stay.
