New to this hotwire thing and wondered if anyone could help me.

$68 Dollars per night

Amenities are: Resort, Beachfront, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Hi Speed, Tennis, Spa, and Children Activities.

I assume this isn't the Don but one can always hope that it pops up. :)

Has anyone been to the Tradewinds and is it worth a stay? I am trying to find some solid information on it before deciding to book. A lot of people on Trip advsior seem down on it.

While a few of the tripadvisor reviews recently have been negative, the hotel's overall reviews are a 4/5, which puts them near the top of the tripadvisor list for the area. Keep in mind that many of the TA reviews are likely by those who paid full price.

I have stayed there 3 times,the last time about 3 years ago and have always had a great time. This resort is actually 2 or 3 hotels that were remodeled and then "hooked" together by common paths and landscaping. There is an adult only pool and pools for families. The staff has always been most helpful. I would suggest buying an Entertainment Book for the area....a lot of buy one get one free meals,attractions etc.I haven't looked at this year's issue, but in past years it had coupons for the restaurants in the TWG and close by. I think they are 1/2 price right now,about $10.00.

I decided to take the offer and it was the Island Grand. Guess you can't beat 7 nights on the beach for a shade under $500. Even with the added resort fee it won't be too bad a deal.

Can you please add a reply to this thread with the correct dates of your stay... your last post indicates 7 nites but your previous post indicates 6 nites (11/2-11/8) and we'd like to make sure it appears correctly in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins.
