PapaCat Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 I had tried 3.5* up to $95 with no success, quit out and restarted with 3* at $77 and inched my way up with rebids and adding zones. At $95 no dice, but at $97 I was upgraded to 3.5* with the Affinia Manhattan.Taxes & fees for 3 nights = $62, so $353 for three nights, total. Pretty good deal, as I could barely score up a tiny room with a shared bath at that price through regular booking services.Reviews look good and location is excellent. As always, I used the BetterBidding search tool to begin my search (and each time I quit out and restarted). Thanks to all here for posting your bids that provide the information needed for everyone to score the good deals! We all rely on each other for information. Please do your part to keep BetterBidding the best place to research Priceline bids: 1. Remember to start your bidding with the BB PRICELINE link. 2. When you win, post your results here so others can learn from your experience. 3. If you had to do rebids or have bidding tips, pass them along when you can. THANKS!
AaronJB Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Congratulations on your success!Glad you're satisfied with the results - this is a FANTASTIC deal for the Affinia, especially given the added bonus of larger-than-normal (for NYC) rooms.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
