Priceline Hotel: Bidding Strategy 8/20-8/24 5* Hotel

I prefer to book through Priceline and understand its a bit of a crap shoot, of course I won't mind staying at the other 5 stars hotels on the Las Vegas - Strip North. But I would appreciate any guidance, strategies and tips to try and ensure the best possible outcome.
