sky74 Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 After reading what other people managed to secure in NYC for the weekend of May 15-17, I tried the same. After many tries, I ended up with an accepted bid for a 3* in MTE for $140.00/night - The Radisson Lexington. I looked it up on Tripadvisor and it got pretty terrible reviews. I wrote to the hotel - no response. I guess I'm stuck with it but will hope for better luck next time. BTW, this forum is great. I used it for NYC hotels in March and ended up at the Intercontinental for $105.00/night, so I guess you just never know. And yes, both times I used the PRICELINE links from this site :)
thereuare Posted May 15, 2009 Report Posted May 15, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!Sorry to hear you're disappointed with the results. This is an 'average' 3* hotel, imo, in NYC with a good location. For breakfast one morning give Ess-A-Bagel a try as it's close to your hotel (on Third Ave at 51st St) and has one of the best bagels in the city... makes for a good, and inexpensive, breakfast among locals.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.Hope you're stay goes better than you anticipate. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
