bevans Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 Thank you all for the help on getting the last part of my trip to Boston figured out. Now, I need to work on the front end... I am looking at hotels for the nights of 10/20 and 10/21.I am not sure which area may be best. We will be doing the general tourist / sightseeing, so I would think that somewhere near a "T" station would be required. We will also be flying into Logan airport, so a shuttle would be great, but not absolutely required since we can take a cab if necessary. I am open to any suggestions for zones. Price should be in the $50 - $100 range per night if possible. Thanks in advance,Bryan
thereuare Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 I've been to Boston a few times but don't know it that well. The areas more frequently bid are Back Bay/Copley, Cambridge, and Downtown/Charlestown... as well as the airport.I would think that the first three zones above would be fine for a tourist, and perhaps the airport too since so many people bid it, but perhaps somebody who knows the Boston area better could comment on prefered location and then we'll put together a strategy from there.
