Looking to book for May 18 one nite: Don't mind Best Western but not sure if it would be grand hotel instead. Just want reassurance before I go ahead and commit... thanks

sigh....no reply? I think there is only 3 hotel in Tusayan either Holiday Inn, Canyon Plaza Resort & Best Western...judging from the amenities it sound like Canyon Plaza...I will wait till tommorrow before I make up my mind...Maswik Lodge on the South Rim vs Canyon Plaza...ehmmm

I'm not sure which Holiday Inn you're refering to but this brand doesn't typcially serve complimentary breakfast (unless it's a holiday inn express you're refering to) and Expedia indicates that the Canyon Plaza Resort has smoking rooms... which if correct would likely eliminate these two (although it's possible that HOTWIRE has only contracted the Smoke Free rooms with the Canyon Plaza Resort, but that's not usually how they do it)

In Tusayan there is no Holiday-Inn only a Holiday-Inn express, which serves complimenty breakfast. But most of the best-westerns offers a complimentary breakfast. Also the Best-Western has a restaurant. (The Holliday-Inn Express doesn't has this).

Based on this info i think its the BW in Tusayan.

Expedia's information by be old as a look at the Best Western website indicates only non-smoking rooms for all the dates i tried to book... but i guess we won't know as the OP never followed-up :) and this stay has already passed, so i guess no need to continue this discussion, but hopefully this information will help a future user.

I did not ended up buying thru HOTWIRE or PRICELINE on this last trip I booked directly n stayed inside the canyon park lodge instead to spend more time in the park instead of on the road. Sorry should have updated but want sure since I didn't have ant new hotel adding to this inquiry thanks for your help however...
