lironavr Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Hi,I want to book a hotel in central Rome, between 21/5/09-24/5/09 (3 nights).I received this result in Hotwire:4* hotel in central rome, 169$ per room per night. Amenities: fitness center, restaurants, high speed internet access, complementary breakfast included. In tripadvisor: ranked 4 out of 5, 120+ customer reviews, last reviewed march 2009.Thing is... I can't find any hotel that fits all the details in tripadvisor!...Can anyone help? Thanks!!Liron.
thereuare Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! This property has not yet been reported to the above.Keep in mind the Tripadvisor information provided by HOTWIRE is not dynamic, meaning that it's not updated instantly when new information is added to Tripadvisor, it's just a snapshot in time (usually within the last month) although HOTWIRE is currently a little bit past that in their update. So, if a review has been added in the last 5 weeks, hotw.ire will still show "last reviewed" march while the TA info will show the correct 'last reviewed' info. Same goes if new review(s) are enough to increase/decrease the TA rating, that will not be reflect in the info that HOTWIRE indicates. This can make using the TA info difficult in identifying some properties and why you may not see a match when searching Tripadvisor. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let su know whatever you end up doing for this stay or if we can be of further help.
