Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Financial District-Embarcadero) Hyatt Regency

Was looking for a place to stay for Saturday May 16 for the Bay to Breakers race. Many hotels in the area were sold out or had high rates. I tried various combinations of $50,60,70,89,99 bids with 3, 3.5, 4*'s in Financial District - Embarcadero, SOMA - Moscone Center, Union Square East. My bid of $99 for 3* in those 3 areas failed. Finally got fed up and bid $130 for 4* then was going to work backwards down the *'s. Luckily, I hit 4* Hyatt for $130 bid (total: $158.20). This is the official hotel for the Bay to Breakers race. Cheapest on Hyatt's site for that one night is $240 total.

Hope this helps any of you whom are lazy like me and were looking for a room last minute.
