Priceline Hotel: REQUEST: suggested bids - Long Island/Nassau

Hope I posted this request properly - if not, I'm sure one of our fine moderators will set me straight :).

Gots a bud looking for a room in this area from Friday 5/22-Tuesday 5/26 (4 nights). Strong preference to the Nassau county zone - no further east, if possible. I'm not familiar enough with it and there hasn't been enough activity posted to get a good range.

Saw one hit for the Hilton Garden Inn (Huntington/Plainview) a couple months back at $45 for mid-week, I believe - hard to believe at that lol. Any suggestions? Looks like a 3* could be had for a $60 bid, yes? Either the Huntington/Plainview or Bethpage/Farmingdale zone. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

I asume your friend has reason to be in this specific area as it's not really one i would recommend for commuting to Manhattan and there isn't really too much in the immediate area for somebody who is not there on business and just "in from out of town".

With time on your side i would try as following...

(to confirm, looking for a 3* or better in the Huntington/Plainview or Bethpage/Farmingdale zones, correct?)

At the 3* level you have one re-bid zone. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.
