Islander7 Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 I am looking at HOTWIRE for prices in London 6/21-6/25. I entered 4 adults, but could do 2 adults and 2 children (they are 15 & 17 and 6'4" so don't seem like children)I am wondering if anyone can help identify these two hotels 4* Kensington-Chelsea-Knightsbridge $99FitnessRestaurantBusiness CenterHigh speed internetAlso 4* Regents Park-Baker Street-Camden Lock $109Smoke FreeFitness CenterRestaurantBusiness CenterHighspeedThe Regents Park is the only one I see with Smoke Free. Is this rare? Now I'm worrying that all the rooms we book on our trip will smell like smoke. I just found this site and have now spent 2 hours browsing. I really appreciate the help.
yellowdog Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding :) 4* Regents Park-Baker Street-Camden Lock $109This is a match for Holiday Inn Camden Lock. So that would be my best guess. I can't get the 4* Kensington property to appear on my seach. Can you please run a new HOTWIRE search and see if this property is still offered. Not all smoke free hotels use the smoke free icon. So it's hard answer your question. But most hotels are smoke free today. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Camden Lock in January, and I can highly recommend this hotel. My friend is a non smoker and he had no problems. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
thereuare Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 I only see the Kensington property when searching for 2adults/0chidren... when it does appear on my 2adult/0children search it's a match for the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum so that would be my best guess. (NOTE: on my search it also shows a Tripadvisor rating of 3.5/5.0 with 460+ reviews)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Islander7 Posted May 8, 2009 Author Report Posted May 8, 2009 I forgot to say that I was searching for 2 rooms. thereuare Posted May 8, 2009 Report Posted May 8, 2009 The 3.5* above is a match for the Holiday Inn Regents Park so that would be our best guess. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
