solesy
Been trying to bid for the past week for a 4* in downtown Seattle with no luck. Want to book two rooms for one night, 7/10/09. Started at $50 and was last rejected at $120. Noticed most bidders are getting 4* for under $100. What am I doing wrong? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! It's a busy nite in Seattle (for some reason... i'm not sure if cruise business or an event in the city) and rates are currently a bit higher than usual, with the Westin and Sheraton both showing sold-out at the moment.I'm guessing your not far off, perhaps another $5-$15, but not sure of your budget or if you'd prefer to wait it out and see if rates come down at all (of course they could go up as well), lower your star rating, look to stay outside of the city, etc, etc.Let us know your thoughts as to how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
