Priceline Hotel: 4* Miami (Beach) Renaissance Eden Roc

I placed a bid 2 days ago on priceline for june 3, 3 nights, 4 star in miami beach, 80$ and it got rejected. I saw that recent wins for a 4 star in that area are The Palms and Eden Roc Renaissance hotel. I am really hoping to book the Eden Roc Renaissance hotel. I saw that someone won that hotel at 100$ per night 6/1-6/3.

Do you have a strategy? I am willing to bid up to 110$ per night.

Assuming you're willing to accept any 4* hotel in the zone (or Resort class hotel since your 4* bid can be upgraded to a resort property) i'd try as follows:

At the 4* level you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Select 4* Miami Beach...

Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $105, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $110

I got the Renaissance Eden Roc in Miami Beach for 95$ per night on Priceline.

Bid 80$ Miami Beach, got rejected

Bid 90$ adding South Beach, rejected

Bid 95$ adding Miami North, was accepted.

Unless you also wanted to stay in South Beach i don't think you had your re-bid zones correct, feel free to confirm your re-bid zones before bidding for your next hotel stay... but all is well that ends well and glad to see you ended up in the zone, and at the property, you were hoping for.
