Hotwire Hotel: 3* Las Vegas (near Strip East) Desert Rose

I'm trying to find a close hotel to the Mandalay Bay for the days of July 10th through the 12th. I believe the Luxor is the closest bet but I'm not sure which one it is from the options given by hotwire. I would appreciate your help. in giving me the names from the results for the south strip locations

Does anybody know? because I can't find it anywhere. This will be my first time in Las Vegas and I'm not very familiar with the hotels.... any ideas?

I can't see any listed, but I think it sort of sounds like Jockey Club (160+ reviews 3 1/2 out of 5 on tripadvisor). It's only a guess though. Could possibly be Polo Towers, but they have under 160 reviews so it shouldn't really be.

Personally I wouldn't chance it at that price, you could get Trump for less. Also 3-star condo in Near Strip East $69 could be Desert Rose.

When you search HOTWIRE if there is anything that looks like the Luxor feel free to post the details and we'll confirm if we believe that is likel the hotel you're being offered as well.

Also, there is a monorail that goes from Excalibury to Luxor to Mandalay Bay so the Excalibur may work four needs as well (as might the MGM Grand and NYNY if you don't mind crossing the street (or two if MGM Grand), going into the Excalibur, then taking the monorail... not the easiest or the worst thing, but not sure how much work you're willing to put in for a good deal.

What is your budget for this stay?

What exactly is it that you need for this stay... is your only concern being close to Mandalay Bay? Do you need a condo property? What is your budget and desired star level?

Luxor is a 4 star I believe.

Also anything "South Strip" would be fairly close to Mandalay Bay :)
