Priceline Hotel: 3.5* New Orleans (Downtown-Convention Center) Marriott Convention Cntr

Attended 2nd weekend of Jazzfest and had to wait until 1 week before to get decent rate ($80). Hotel was definitely 3.5* with excellent and friendly staff and comfortable/spotless rooms. What I disliked was having to pay $14.95/day for an internet connection. There was even a stiff fee for using a computer in the lobby. Fortunately, I realized the Starbucks connected to the hotel lobby had free WiFi so I could easily check my email and surf for a while while in the Marriott lobby. With this hotel just across the from the Convention Center they must get a lot of business people who would be p***** off having to pay that much for WiFi. Oh, no free coffee in lobby either, maybe because of the Starbucks.

Hotel is fairly long walk, maybe 15 minutes to French Quarter, Bourbon Street etc.
