melissas77 Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 :) :) Williamsburg, VA1st attempt: 2.5 stars in Historic- Busch Gardens Area $35- rejected2nd attempt:added Center- Outlets area and increased to $40- rejectedA few days later- went up to $50 (same areas and 2.5 stars)- rejectedFinally lowered stars to 2 but removed Historic- Busch Gardens area because I did not want Patrick Henry Inn or Days Inn, also lowered bid to $40- ACCEPTED!I was SO happy to get SpringHill Suites! Originally I had booked 7/26-7/31 ($200 + 38.64 taxes/fees).When I found out I got this hotel I added the extra night (additional $40 + $13.08 taxes/fees).I am a very happy first time PRICELINE user.
