Priceline Hotel: 4* Chicago (Millenium-Loop-Grant Park) How high?

I'm trying to get a room 5/29 - 5/31. So far I've gone to $169 without getting a room. This is listed on Priceline as a "best deal"? I'm amazed at some of the offers getting described here.

Do you need to be in the Loop zone?

HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the NMA-Water Tower zone for $162/nite, less than you have already bid, with Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business icons. More importantly it shows a Tripadvisor user rating of 4.5/5.0 with 80+ reviews... this would be a match for the Sutton Place which gets great reviews.
