Priceline Hotel: Help 3.5* Chicago (Lisle-Naperville) WANT: Hyatt Lisle

Hi. I'm brand new. I get the gist of this and want to give it a try.

We are going to a wedding in Lisle, outside of Chicago, night of Jun 13. Wedding rate at the Lisle Hyatt is $101, which seems like a rip. Looks like I may be able to bid here and get it for $35.

Thing is, there is also the Wyndham Lisle which is on the list of possible hotels. If we go the Wyndham, all would not be lost, but the Hyatt is closer to the wedding site and provides a shuttle from the train station.

It looks like most bids won the past few months for a $35 bid have been the Hyatt, but is there any way to better my chances?

Hotwire's site now shows that a 4* hotel is available in Lisle-Naperville. This wasn't the case yesterday. And the amenities from the hotel list don't exactly match up with what is listed on Hotwire's site.

We are going for a wedding and so we do want to stay at this hotel, as this is where everyone else will be, but it seems dumb to pay twice the price if I can be 98% positive this is the right hotel based on the amenities and book it through Hotwire. Is there any updated information?

The amenities for the 4* hotel are as follows:

non-smoking, fitness, restaurant, business center, wifi, golf

The amenities for the 3 1/2 * are:

fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, laundry, wifi, golf

There is also a 3* listed as:

non-smoking rooms, pool, restaurant, wifi

They don't really match up to anything on the current hotel list. Thanks.

The 4* may be the Hotel Arista at City Gate Centre but that's just a guess.

I'm one of those $35 Hyatt posters. I've stayed at both the Hyatt and the Wyndham. Last year, when I stayed at the Wyndham, they did have limited shuttle service to the Lisle Metra station. You might want to call them and check.
