Priceline Hotel: 4* Chicago (NMA-River North) Sheraton Towers

Hello...

As you can see I am a noob and have no idea what I am doing. I have never used priceline but with the prices in Chicago for hotels I thought I would give it a shot.

My initial offer was $79/night in North Michigan Ave and it was rejected. Then a page popped up saying "A Priceline customer recently named their own price in Chicago, IL for a 4-star hotel in the North Michigan Ave - River North Area for $90 a night*."

So, of course I tried this and again it was rejected, saying I needed to increase my offer by $22/night.

Any advice appreciated.

Given your current bids, it appears you can be successful for a 4* hotel in this zone for between $91-$112... how high are you willing to bid for a 4* hotel in this zone? Are any other zones acceptable?

If budget is concerned i'll add that HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the Loop zone for $82/nite (best guess the Palmer House Hilton) if that would work well for your needs.

Second bid today added Lincoln Park 4* and won Sheraton Chicago Hotel Tower $79/nt in North Mich Ave area. Saved over $200 from previous reservation with Hilton Garden Inn.
