L V Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Based on the $100 rates I'm seeing and not believing, I bid $25 for an Econ = No. $30 for a Compact = No. $35 for a Mid = No. Looks like I'll try again HOTWIRE today, and Pric.eline tomorrow. What's going on in SFO that has cars so precious?
thereuare Posted May 3, 2009 Report Posted May 3, 2009 Not sure what is happening in the city that day... but something is driving up car rental rates (which usually means it's more business oriented than tourist oriented)Since this is just a one nite stay, are you staying local? Could you possibly get away with taxes and/or mass transit instead of renting a car? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
