The rate is $85 now (the rate you see might be a few dollars different, either way) and it looks like the Holiday Inn. The HI's been reported with those icons and the TripAdvisor stats match.

Since this is a 16-night stay and ID's are never 100% guaranteed you might want to purchase just a few nights first (assuming you want the Holiday Inn) to be sure what you're getting. Then if you like the result purchase the rest. Splitting your bid protects you against winning 16 nights at a hotel you don't want.

There's a good chance you can beat Hotwire's rate by bidding on Priceline. Someone can provide a strategy if you want.

Also - if you're staying as long as 16 days, you may want to look into somewhere that offers a weekly rate and save some more $$. You could try the Donatello, Grosvenor House or the Gaylord Suites hotels - all near Union Square - and they may give you a better rate for a full week. Then you could pick up the extra two nights on Hotwire or Priceline. With these properties, you'd have a kitchen, so you make a meal if necessary. Just something to think about ....
