Priceline Hotel: 3.5* DC (Crystal City) Hyatt Regency

After doing research, I decided to bid on Betterbidding's PRICELINE site for a hotel near Georgetown University. I saw that there were a few good deals in Crystal City so I gave it a shot. I'm really excited that my bid was accepted at the Hyatt Regency because there are reasonable parking choices near this hotel and it's only 4 miles from my daughter's campus at Georgetown Univ.

BID 1 REJECTED, 3.5, Arlington, $48

BID 2 ACCEPTED, 3.5, added Crystal City, $50

Thanks to all who share their knowledge and insight. My husband couldn't believe I got such a good deal on a 3.5 rated hotel in this area. The Hyatt Regency was my 1st choice because of location, features, parking, etc. There was no guarantee I would get the Hyatt so I was really lucky. I noticed others on this web site posted winning bids in the $48-51 price range in March/April of 2009. Hope this posting will help others looking for a good deal like me. :)
