sharibabe
Hi,I have been bidding for a 4* Chicago NMA, started with $65, $66 then $67...What are my chances of getting 2 rooms for under $100/rm/night? I still have plenty if time..do you think I have a better chance at a 3 1/2* or 3*????Any advice would be helpful. Thanks Link to comment
thereuare
HOTWIRE has a 4* hotel in the MagMile-Streeterville zone for $84/nite (Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa) with a TA rating of 3.5/5.0 and 520+ reviews... this is a match for the Hyatt Regency so that would be our best guess. As well, if you look at HOTWIRE all the other hotels at this star level are priced much higher, so if this is of interest to you i would etiher take it on HOTWIRE OR ramp up your PRICELINE bidding more than $1 between bids, otherwise as you're trying to save an extra $3 you can see this hotel disappear and be replaced with something much more expensive.HOWEVER, if you try to aim for this property on PRICELINE, note that it is in the Loop zone, and there are no guarantees that this is the property you'll receive (you could receive a different 4* hotel in this zone)Let us know how you'd like to proceed or if we you go with the above and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. sharibabe
Went on priceline and I could not find the deal you suggested. I have been keeping up with winning bids so I know what the 4* are going for...what is the $ amount I should increase for each bid. I am not so familiar with the "areas" on hotwire. But I will keep looking.thanks again for your help Link to comment
AaronJB
The deal mentioned is on HOTWIRE, not PRICELINE. I would recommend bidding $70 for a 4* in the Millennium Park/Loop/Grant Park area if you want to try PRICELINEPlease use the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to start your purchase.
