Now, I want to use Priceline again and see if I can get a good Las Vegas deal. I just want to make sure this strategy works though:5* in Strip North only which is Palazzo, Trump, Venetian, Wynn from 05/15-05/17. I really don't want Trump but it's all the luck of the draw. I see on the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins that the Trump was up for $120 on those dates (:)). Here's what I am thinking... 5*, $110 start, $5 increments starting at the North, and any other part of Las Vegas that isn't South since Manadalay bay is the only other 5* that isn't in North. Would this work?

gatordave Posted May 2, 2009 Report Posted May 2, 2009 I'm trying for the same weekend. So far bids up to $159 and no luck getting 5* on the strip. I'm trying to book 5 rooms for a group weekend. Keep me posted on how you strategy is working. I'm thinking about dropping down to a 4*, but the list gets long at that level and not sure I'm willing to take my chances with bidding.
biddingjohn Posted May 7, 2009 Report Posted May 7, 2009 I have gone up to $90 for a 5* on North Strip for May 17th - May 20th. Each time failed. They are offering a $116 per night for 5* as a consolation price. (probably Trump but don't know)
