returnthefavour Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Won The Avenue Hotel on Priceline. Started at $70 for a 4* given the win for Swissotel, but no luck. Extended area to include both Millenium Park and North Michigan Ave areas, increased bid amount gradually (had to extend to South O'Hare area, as they have no 4* hotels) and won The Avenue Hotel for $99.We had seen it for $114 on Quikbook and nearly booked that, so very pleased.Thanks for your tips on rebidding - I wouldn't have known to extend to other areas otherwise!!
