LadyBug50
After a $50 rejection with no free rebids (unless I missed something) and after the lock-out period, bidding $71, then rejected again with no counter offers, the third time was a charm, but more $$ than we wanted to bid. The offer the 3rd time was $85 with a counter offer of $22 more. They would not accept less than the $22 counter offer. bbbb
Did you try to under cut the counter offer with a free rebid between $85 and $107?I have never seen a time where you could not get it for less then the counter offer. Link to comment
thereuare
LadyBug, nice to see you around the board again and continuing your (not so new anymore) Priceline ways. When Priceline gives you the opportunity to bid again immediately without changing it is contingent upon you raising by the amount stated. Trying to not change anything and bidding lower than they require will result in the duplicate bid screen. However, you did have one re-bid available at the 3* level which you could have used. If you ever need help with how to figure out your re-bid zones feel free to ask.Enjoy your stay. thereuare
You add the one re-bid zone available and increase your bid by less than they 'suggest'. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
LadyBug50
Thanks thereuare and BBBB, but by overlooking the free rebid, I thought I was stuck paying the counter offer. Next time I'll try and be more observant. :) Link to comment
thereuare
Or just confirm your re-bid zones (the number of them) with the board. :)We're here to help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
