yellowdog Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! Can you please post your date(s) for the stay.Yellowdog.
gotozmoon Posted April 29, 2009 Author Report Posted April 29, 2009 The date is May 3, this coming weekend. Thanks!
AaronJB Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 This would be a possible match for the Hudson, which is showing up as a 3.5* on the vacation package side of the service. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase.
thereuare Posted April 29, 2009 Report Posted April 29, 2009 One caveat to the above is that on my own search for your date (just one nite, Sunday, May 3rd, correct?) the Tripadvisor info provided stated 3.0/5.0 with 1340+ reviews... the the TA user review star rating (and the HOTWIRE amenites) match that of the Hudson, the Hudson currently only has 1259 reviews. I have seen the number of reviews differ, but by nearly 100 would be a bit on the high side. I do think there is still a chance that this is the Hudson, but i wanted to point out the inconsistency so you can make your own decision if you want to risk it or not. I did find the Park Central which has matches the TA info above and has these amenities too... but that is still currently rated 3* by HOTWIRE.Is there something in particular you're looking for from this stay? This is a Sunday nite in NYC, the slowest hotel day of the week, and you may be able to get a 4* via PRICELINE for a similar amount. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know your thoughts and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
gotozmoon Posted October 7, 2009 Author Report Posted October 7, 2009 I ended up not getting a hotel room for that night. I started planning too late and it wouldn't have worked out as I would have liked. Thanks.
