JulesBo Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 In area for a wedding and didn't want to stay at the Hampton Inn for $89/night. Went for a 4-star in a nearby burb (the wedding burb had only 2 1/2), started at $40. Priceline said I could bid again if I raised by $12, so I bit and it gave me the Eaglewood Resort & Spa.Tripadvisor reviews are mixed, so we'll see. The place apparently has a bowling alley, so the kids should enjoy that anyway.I used your PRICELINE link, and I hope everyone remembers to do that, and support this site. These techniques have saved me a lot of money and impressed my family and friends with the great deals we've gotten!
thereuare Posted April 25, 2009 Report Posted April 25, 2009 Congratulations on your success!Glad to see this should work out well for your needs. For future bidding, be aware that you can often undercut the counter-offer by using re-bid zones, as explained in this Priceline Suggests Price to Pay.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay and have fun at the wedding. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
