Unfortunately this property has not yet been identified.

If you're able to stretch your budget a little, what appears to be the Inter-Continental is available for $119/nite and gets pretty good reviews.

thanks again for your reply. i still have not booked for this trip. after further looking thru the forum, i noticed that the rooms generally go for less on priceline. do you have any suggestions for getting a 4* room for under $100/night on priceline? i saw that someone got the blackstone for $81...is there a strategy to get that specific hotel?

i appreciate all the help and advice!

As AaronJB points out above you can't bid for a specific hotel.

If you haven't seen it yet, and you're new to PRICELINE and HOTWIRE this is a good read which explains the similarities and differences between the two services: I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire.

Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly.

i would like to try bidding thru priceline. do you have a suggestion has to how much i should start at for a 4* for 4/23-4/26/09? i'm interested in either the millenium loop area or michigan ave. or do you think going for the choices on hotwire is my best bet? again, appreciate all your help. thanks!!

It depends what is more important to you... PRICELINE is usually a little cheaper than HOTWIRE, but with hotw.ire you're able to take an educated guess as to the property you may received before your purchase... whereas with PRICELINE you're subject to any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) you bid.

If you'd like to give PRICELINE a try let us know your maximum bid so that we don't' suggest a strategy that goes higher than you're willing to pay and we'll advise accordingly.
