XT600 Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 How can HOTWIRE put this hotel to "central" area? It's south of inner city even within the grande raccordo (ring highway)?
thereuare Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 The name of the zone is not the "rule", it's the boundaries of the zone that count, and this property does appear to be within the southern boundary of the zone. adam165561 Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 I agree. This is not a Central Rome Hotel. Its good for business travel, but for people taking a vacation to Rome, it is way too far away from all of the sites
iggywh Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 The name of the zone is not the "rule", it's the boundaries of the zone that count, and this property does appear to be within the southern boundary of the zone.Sorry to drag up an old thread...I fought with Priceline and later my credit card company over the name of the zone is not the rule. It was for a hotel in Vegas, to which Priceline had the zone listed as "Las Vegas Strip North". The hotel was actually off the Strip (and in Vegas, the closest off the strip is like 1/2 a mile).Priceline wouldn't do anything but my credit card company sided with me. This was in July of 08, and I now see Priceline uses the wording "Las Vegas Strip Vicinity North". That could very well be because of me :)
